Masters of Education in Learning, Design, and Technology, with a concentration in training and development.

This program is designed to take students like me and equip them with the tools necessary to reach all kinds of learners in all kinds of fields. I am currently gaining valuable experience designing instruction that would fit the needs of all kinds of businesses, content creators, contractors and more!

Expected Graduation, August 2026

  • ELDT 6000 Topics in LDT
    • A course covering different emerging topics in the field of LDT. At the time of taking, this included the use of new multimedia technologies, the prevalence of AI and working to connect in a digital landscape, among others.
  • ELDT 6100: Foundations of LDT
    • A Course that lays the groundwork for understanding and working within the LDT field. Provides an overview of the theory that underpins work in the field and students work to collaborate on projects to set themselves up for future success.
  • RSCH 6101 Research methods
    • A course detailing proper research methodology and its use in academia and beyond
  • ELDT 6110 Instructional Design
    • A course focused on dealing with the application of theory into practice. Much of the course was involved in producing materials representing different elements of the instructional design process
  • ELDT 6130 Instructional Multimedia Development
    • Working to involve different forms of multimedia into instructional content. Much of the course focused on industry standard technology like Adobe Captivate, Storyline 360, and the use of Mayer’s media principles in the construction of effective materials.
  • ELDT 6140 Instructional Video Development
    • Using instructional strategies to produce educational video content. This culminated in a project which ended up being “Stitchin’ Time Designs” listed on this site.

This program has been hands on and full of opportunities to test my abilities in simulations of real world applications. I have worked to create projects of all kinds, put in the hours doing research and analysis, and have produced work that I am currently fairly proud of, though I know in the future it will hopefully be minor in comparison.
